Bhanumathi Narasimhan is the younger sister of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and she  leads the women's welfare and child care initiatives at the Art of Living. She is the  chairperson of the International Women’s Conference and her vision is to create a global network of responsible women to catalyze positive social transformation. She holds a Master’s degree in Sanskrit Literature. She is the author of Gurudev: On the Plateau of the Peak and has previously authored two books, Tejasvini and Lalita on the Mother Divine.
