Aesentra, or "Aes" (pronounced Ace), is a male earthen defender in the Bumblehaven AU. Earthens, in Bumblehaven, are the bones of the world. They are the shamans, the groundskeepers, the mystics, and the preservationists. They tend the land and all the creatures on it with nothing but resilience and compassion. Their affinities, magics, and domains of power almost always have to do with the earth in some way, and their offspring are no different -- even if they're hybrid.
Aes himself is a defender of his herd, a warrior-like chieftain that works in council with other defenders to protect shared interests (like their home, friends, family -- you get the point). He's big, as all earthens are, and wields a massive diamond-and-wood hewn scythe.
Spunky, creative, and ready to take on any adventure, BH is a symbolic representation of me as I am in reality. She may be referred to as modhorse, deerhorse, or BH across my accounts.
A hybrid (or half-breed, as she's been rudely called in the past) between a stag and a common pegasus, she bears features of both her parents in the most incredible of ways. Her path (or special talent) is like that of the bumblebee -- to wander and spread good things, mostly stories and visual creations, to help make her world a better place.

On Equus (the planet, or "overall universe" of the MLP nations in my headcanons) I have it plotted that she's a portager, and uses her strength and unique traveling attributes -- aka wings -- to portage supplies across the continent she lives in. She is not yet brave enough to try traversing the world -- after all, she’s only a single equine in a single wood canoe -- but hopes to one day be able to do so, perhaps when she finds her heart’s true partner.
In the meantime, BH is content to travel on her own, piloting her canoe along the various rivers and landscapes of her home. Sometimes other creatures join her for legs of her journey; they help to make the travel more interesting. As long as they don’t interfere with the supplies she portages, the company is always welcome, and BH is grateful for every friend she makes.
