Draco loves Pulp, Harry doesn't point out the irony in Draco singing Common People of all songs. He doesn't like Nirvana though he likes Soundgarden, Harry thinks it's because he has an obvious crush on Chris Cornell. Draco doesn't understand the Spice Girls but hums 2 become 1 and Wannabe all the time at work, Ron would very much like to point out that this is making everybody mad, but Harry delights in the hidden knowledge that Draco takes a piece of him everywhere, even if nobody knows. He hates all of Harry’s punk records, no question, Harry has tried. Draco enjoys Placebo, and when Brian Molko sings "me and the dragon can chase all the pain away," Harry ignores the obscure substance references to think of Draco only. He also has a crush on PJ Harvey, thinks Björk and Bowie are magical, that Elton John is deeply boring, and no matter how many times Harry has explained Gorillaz to him, he can't get his head around it. He isn't sure about The Beatles, mostly because he doesn't believe all you need is love (it's just a song, Harry screams into a cushion for the eleventh time), however, he's convinced that the Giant Squid would love Octopus's Garden, and he stays very quiet when Blackbird starts playing. He can't understand Harry's love for Radiohead's Amnesiac but thinks "it's very you, Potter," all the same. Draco loves Dusty Springfield with all his heart and denies it even when he's singing Spooky right in front of Harry, the infuriating git. Draco has not once told him that he loves him, not yet, but when they listen to You don't have to say you love me, Harry doesn't mind much because he can wait as long as Draco is being delightfully relaxed and silly in front of him... believe me, believe me, I can't help but love you, but believe me, I'll never tie you down.
