Make Harry Potter even gayer 2020 : rewriting HP characters in a way that would infuriate JKR
I saw a few people doing this challenge, so I thought it might be fun to try! This is basically a summary of my favorite HP headcanons, some I invented, some I saw on this website.
Half Indian (on James’ side)
The most oblivious little shit the world has ever seen
Has no idea what’s going on 95% of the time
Fell for Draco in the beginning of their eighth year when he showed up at King’s Cross with light blue hair, ear piercings and a magical tattoo of narcissuses blooming over his Death Mark
Has been teaching DADA at Hogwarts for nearly two decades now
Dark skinned, only 5′2 tall
A true social activist icon
Abolished house elves’ slavery as soon as she was elected Minister of Magic
Collaborated with McGonagall to open Hogwarts to every magical creature who wanted to study there (centaurs, goblins, elves, etc.)
Accidentally got pregnant at 24, in the middle of her first electoral campaign, and spent the whole night freaking out and trying to figure out what to do
After long talks with Ron they both decided to keep it
Has remained close friends with Cho Chang and Lavender Brown who definitely didn’t die
Shows up to every BLM protest with homemade signs made by his kids
Will happily punch in the face anyone who makes a racist/sexist/homophobic/transphobic statement and that includes JKR
Still blushes whenever he runs into Viktor Krum at Ginny’s Quidditch matches
“Just wait until your mother comes home!”
When asked about her pre-transition pictures, her brothers refer to it as her “tomboy phase”
When she came out to her parents Molly bursted out crying because she had always dreamt of having a daughter.
Broke up with Harry a few months after the battle of Hogwarts because he wanted kids and she didn’t
Went off having a brilliant career in professional Quidditch
Harry never missed one of her matches
Jewish (on their mother’s side)
Has been crushing on Ginny since the day they met
Thought that Ginny was straight so kept quiet about it until she came out as bi on their eighth year
Got her a small moon tattoo on the neck that changes with the phases of the moon
Probably listens to Sufjan Stevens
Luna’s most regular client (each one of his tattoos means something special to him)
Took Harry’s last name when they got married
They used Pansy as a surrogate for their two kids who they did NOT name after Snivellus Snape
Now works as a therapist in a youth shelter for children who grew up in abusive households
