another unpopular opinion of mine is that the women john and paul dated/married were not above biphobia/bi erasure just bc they were in relationships with them. if you can see how john and paul's internal homophobia and biphobia stemmed from the period's views on queerness, especially bisexuality, then you can do the same with their partners.

everybody wants their fav to be bisexual for shipping reasons, but no one wants them to actually be bisexual. if they date only the opposite gender they're straight and if they date at least one person of the same gender then they're gay/lesbian. bisexuality only gets to exist as a fantasy until proven queer, then they become something "better".
