but it's weird? like alicia's never been into politics like that and she's so against people being in her business that i don't know why she'd agree to campaign for this. i get the whole next chapter thing but they did that last season too and it felt WAY more natural, you know? like this doesn't feel that way at all. diane's arc this episode actually had that more organic feeling to it and i've been disappointed with her arc all season. i mean there's no guarantee alicia will win, i'd actually bet she'll lose if she does run (just from a narrative standpoint) and the campaign itself would be a really huge deal for the show to tackle but i don't get how alicia would get to this point in the first place. she's been talking a lot about being tired and not really knowing if she's into the law thing anymore so...she runs for state attorney? i'm just like....why though? especially after diane dropped her bomb about joining up with them. like she brings a lot of security to them that they didn't have so if that was what alicia was concerned with, then....i just don't get it
