Today the lights were switched on for the first time at the new and beautifully built courtyard of Sayeda Fatima س at the Imam Aliع shrine.

61,000 m2, can take up to 200,000 visitors, plus a massive library, museum, place for zawwars to eat (mudeef), car parks and underground tunnel plus more.

The blessed dome of Imam Aliع can be seen from all the different areas of the new extension.

Insha’Allah we all get to see it in person soon.

Celebration of the Nikkah between Imam Ali (as) and Bibi Fatima (sa)

Maulana Asad Jafri: This session marks the auspicious event of the marriage ceremony between Imam Ali (as) and Bibi Fatima (sa). Numerous practical lessons are taken from this blessed union such as simple weddings, the importance of seeking the approval of your daughter in her marriage, and how the spouse selection process is structured in Islam.

For the Quran states,

“They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths,

Although the disbelievers may dislike it” (61:8)
