hi I'm searching for a fic, I don't remember the name but it's Canon compliant on s10. all I remembered was that Paula died when Mickey was still in Jail and then when he came out from there, Terry died and before that he had been thrown a beer to his face or smth like that
Hi, we all looked for that fic and sadly came back empty-handed :( Also, canon compliant implies that everything in the story is exactly like in canon, so the fic you're describing is probably canon divergent.
Do you remember anything else from the story? Other characters involved? Is it a one-shot or a multi-chapter?
Okay I saw your tags on the Wynonna Earp post and not to get feral in your ask box but YES you should give it another try. I know it is somewhat cringe and the writing and acting is not always the best but god it scratches such a blorbo itch. I watched it while it was originally airing and gave up on season 3 when it got extra ridiculous but I went back to it and if you just push through some of the stupider parts and enjoy the relationships the payoff is soooo worth it! Okay haha I’m done ranting at you unsolicited. I just want their to be a fandom resurgence specifically of my ship.
lolol I keep seeing your posts roll around and I was definitely intrigued when it first started airing, but never got around to it. then I got maybe five minutes into the first episode last time i tried to watch it. the stars have just never been aligned i guess... but maybe now! I'll give it another shot, and it's entirely your fault.
A silly Chris/Adrian prompt: one of them attempts to make the other breakfast in bed
This totally helped! Thank you!!! Here is the fic you inspired:
SUNNY SIDE UP ON AO3
And a little snippet, just for fun:
"Since when do you cook breakfast?"
"I don't," Chris says, throwing the burnt sausage into the sink with extreme prejudice. He cuts a dark glower over his shoulder in the direction of the stove and adds, "Clearly." He turns the faucet on and shakes his head. "It was a bad idea. Stupid."
Adrian isn't sure if he's still referring to the idea, or if he's talking about himself. Either way, he he doesn't like it. He frowns at the tight line of Chris's shoulders and says, "Breakfast is awesome, dude. Most important meal of the day, or everybody says it is, anyway."
"Yeah," Chris huffs. "Maybe." He pauses for a second and then turns his head just far enough that Adrian can see his jaw working. "Sorry I woke you."
Adrian shrugs and picks up another of the sausage links. It's a little hot, but manageable. He takes a bigger bite this time, speaking through a mouthful of spice and char as he assures, "It's fine. I was gonna get up soon, anyway. I'm on the lunch shift, today."
"I know," Chris nods. "I was trying to - " he sighs and shakes his head again. "Nevermind. We've got a few of those Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches in the freezer, if you want one. Pretty sure I can manage that, at least."
There's a fic where MIckey PO gets to know him better, having already dealt with Milkovich's he sees how different Mickey is to his family. Its not The Persistence of Larry Seaver fanfic its another where he eventually invited the PO for a celebration at the Gallagher house
Could you be thinking of trying to listen in, part 12 of broad shouldered beasts?
Let us know if that isn’t the fic you’re looking for :)
Hi! You all have helped me find so many great fics. Thank you! I’m trying to remember the name of a fic where Ian and Mickey run off together. I think it’s so Mickey isn’t forced to marry Svet? They get an apartment, jobs, are in love and Ian’s bipolar starts to manifest. Ring any bells?
This sounds like please don’t say I’m going alone. Let us know if not!
