you all!! I have turned in everything for my book!! FINALLY. I have the most patient and awesome editors in the world at @chroniclebooks 😘. it has been 8 months of pretty much *non-stop* work, the hardest thing I’ve ever done by far (writing stuff!!), and I am SO EXCITED to be done, and really, really happy with it, and already impatient for next fall, and still tired, but also, kind of at a complete loss as to what to do with myself. ha. ___ #bibliophilebook (at Baldwin Beach Park)

I am so excited to share this newly released book called BIBLIOPHILE, written and illustrated by @jane_mount. Let me start by saying that it is the best non-fiction book I have seen in many years! It is a book made for every book lover. Considered an illustrated miscellany, this beautifully illustrated book is full of bookish people, trivia, quizzes, bookshops from around the world, lists of the best books in different genres, iconic book covers, Little Free Libraries, writing rooms, stack of books and so much more. I can’t stress enough how every single page in this book is an explosion of colourful literary information and images. I will put some of interior pages on my insta story for you to see what I am talking about, but for now, feel free to gawk at the cover here which shows an illustrated stack of some of our favourite classics. As you can see, I’ve tried to recreate the stack. Turns out I do not own all the classics out there. 😆 . once in nyc we were walking down the street behind a guy and his jack russell terrier (I know, this is a shiba inu, but he made me think of this story) who got very excited about the dog run we were all passing. the guy jerked the leash (not meanly, just sternly) and said, “no! you’ve had your dog time today!” 😂 . #bibliophilebook #shibainu #dogtime
