I go plain.
As I grow old (this hurts), I learn that there is indeed truth behind the saying "The simpler, the better." Some getups arebetter left unembellished to maintain its plainness-- simply because they can perfectly stand on their own.

Free-spirited
In UP, we have a number of dance groups—two of them are basically more into modern dance. Perhaps, you already saw them on television once or twice (if you’re a fan of dance competitions such as the ones sponsored by Skecher’s). UP students would usually see them at the DL Umali or SU building where they conduct rehearsals.
The first image is a photo of UPLB’s Street Jazz (lifted from pinoymanila.com) and the second one is a photo of UPLB’s Wyre Underground (which I lifted from juice.ph).
Personally I see them as really talented persons considering that they can work so hard even until the wee hours doing choreographs for their performances and still, manage to attend classes and maintain good grades. You know, the art of perfectly juggling studies with other things like hobbies and interests.
The photos above are actually inspired by them. Those are “Pwede-na-po-ba-ako-sa-Wyre-Underground-o-di-kaya-naman-sa-Street-Jazz? kind of photos.
Funny but I guess I’m a frustrated dancer deep inside. Hihi
de nîmes
As always, denims never fail to amaze me. I mean, every time there is this big comeback of denims in the market, there is no other option but to buy them. After all, denims are considered a staple for ages. I guess no one will question that. Most people will actually say that when you have a good pair of denim jeans, you’re already good to go. With denims, you can be preppy, boyish, girly, classy, name it. They are just too good to be ignored.
Bigger Better Summer at Bigg’s
Whenever I pass by a Bigg’s branch, I always remember how infectious my sister’s love of Bigg’s burger is and how it persuaded me to actually develop the same ‘burger cravings.’
It was during my high school years when I learned to know more about this restaurant. I am not really a foodie kind of person. Ironically, it takes time before I actually appreciate a certain restaurant or fast food chain. Whenever I enter a food place, I observe every detail of it—the furniture, the utensils, the waiters/waitresses, the ventilation, the smell, the comfort room and even the kind of music playing on the stereo. It is just after looking to those details that I focus on the food itself—the taste, the uniqueness of it from the others and of course, the presentation. I am not that perfectionist but I always want to consider the reasons why I have to come back to a particular place to dine again. And that for me is one thing that wise customers should do.
After coming back to Bigg’s for many times, I realized that it passed my standards of what a diner should be. Compared to fast food chains and other restaurants in the city, Bigg’s has this touch of Bicolano culture that I guess is one of the major reasons why Bicolanos are continuously supporting it and of course, gushing about its wide array of great food choices. It is undeniable that Bigg’s awesomely satisfies taste buds of all those pleasure seekers and foodies out there.
Last April 11, I felt blessed because I was able to attend Bigg’s Bigger Better Summer launching event at their Magsaysay branch together with some Bicolano bloggers and writers. I hardly knew anyone since I was away from the province for many years but I always love meeting new people so the event went smooth and pretty enjoyable. We had fun playing games and sharing with others our passion for blogging and writing. Also, we got to meet Mr. and Mrs. Buenaflor (the couple behind the success of Bigg’s Diner) as well as the other members of the team. They talked about their all-new food choices especially dedicated to summer season (foods, drinks, even some activities). But of course, the best part was that we were actually able to taste their Bigger Better Summer offers. We went home with some giveaways as well! Yay! :)
