Takemehomefromnarnia introduces: BiCon 2015
Every year in the UK, you can find "the highlight of the bisexual year", BiCon. This year the convention is located at the University of Nottingham on the weekend of 13th-16th August.
BiCon offers a temporary home to all individuals either seeking to participate in activism, network with other bisexuals, or just have an equal time for a weekend with likeminded individuals. Essentially, BiCon is a three day gathering for bisexuals, allies, and anyone with a positive interest in bisexuality. During the gathering, the days are filled with sessions, discussions, games, and other events involving socialising and entertainment. Some past examples have included belly dancing, sign language and massage.
All individuals looking to attend the event have the option of single day tickets with a price varying from £12-£27 or weekend passes with the cost being £30-£55. If you are unable to attend there are many ways for you to get involved! You can like BiCon on facebook, follow BiCon on Twitter, tweet about BiCon with the hashtag #bicon, or even order free flyers!
