secondly would i be able to request something like pilot!reader rooming with Phoenix and having a crush on Bob, and Phoenix has to hear reader talk about their crush on Bob all the time in the room and Bob talking about his crush on reader when theyre flying. Second of all omg yes I love that idea! Phoenix is the unwitting wingwoman. Like she doesn’t want to be a wingwoman for the reader and Bob but eventually she’s like I can’t take this anymore just kiss please
I’m also a firm believer in Bob and Phoenix being besties 🤭 Bob tells her everything and vice versa. They definitely have what they call “bestie night” where they get together and update each other on everything

Okay, so you and Phoenix share a room and she figures out very quickly how much you like Bob
Like seriously, you and Bob have a single, five second interaction and Phoenix is like “oooo you have a crushhhhh”
She’s all for it at first but then
Then… you talk non stop about any and every thing Bob related and Bob is constantly talking about you when they’re flying together
And Phoenix is pretty much like “please just grow some balls and kiss already”
She even considers locking you and Bob in a room together until you kiss
Eventually, she brings in Rooster and Hangman to help
The three of them somehow get Penny to clear out the Hard Deck and set up a little table for you and Bob
They tell you that Hangman got too drunk and needs a ride home and they tell Bob that they’re having a very important “team meeting” at the bar
So both you and Bob show up (not at all dressed for a date, I might add) and as soon as you enter, you get shoved into chairs across from each other
Phoenix tells you that she has Rooster and Hangman guarding the door and that the two of you aren’t allowed to leave until you’ve, in her words, “either enjoyed yourselves throughly or kissed”
Hangman is worried that you and Bob will just lie to get out of there but he is proven very wrong when Bob leaves the bar carrying you in his arms with the biggest grin on his face

imagine the tgm crew finding like an abandoned kitten and sneaking it into the barracks. they're doing so well hiding it from mav until he comes in to give an announcement and finds a kitten playing with his shoelaces
Mav gives off the vibes of those dads that insist they don’t want a pet but then become obsessed with the pet as soon as it’s in the house
So the crew finds this little kitten (personally I like to think it wandered into the Hard Deck one day and Rooster spotted it and insisted the crew keep it) and they bring it to the barracks. They’re doing a really good job of hiding it from Mav (he’s literally the only one who doesn’t know about it)
Until….
One day Bob thinks it’s a good idea to sneak the kitten in his pocket when Mav has to give an announcement. Bob can’t help it honestly, the kitten is just so cute and soft and Bob is the kitten’s favorite of the pilots.
The kitten jumps out of Bob’s pocket in the middle of the announcement and makes its way over to start playing with Mav’s shoelaces
It takes Mav a minute to notice but once he does, the whole room goes dead silent and the pilots are so worried they’re in trouble. But Mav just stares at the kitten for a moment before picking it up and continuing on with the announcement

Personally I think Maverick couldn't keep a plant alive to save his life, but Ice probably has a few around his office
Okay, I 1000% agree, Mav kills every plant he owns (he’s just like me) and he gets so frustrated when he sees how many plants Ice has
Bob, Phoenix, and Fanboy can all keep plants alive
Hangman, Payback and Coyote not so much, they do not have green thumbs
Rooster can’t keep a plant alive either and is embarrassed by that fact so he buys fake plants to trick people into thinking he can keep his plants alive
