We made it to Culpepper yesterday and Rafael cooked some delicious tofu and baked beans. Yes, I will probably write a lot about FOOD. The manager and grounds warden of Cedar Mountain Campground were so friendly and welcoming! We were the only tent campers again.
We headed out through some mountains today - had a slow journey through a few gravel roads, up and down hills and of course dragged down a little by the trailer. You’ve been great Mr. Trailer but we’re going to have to let you go. It was a pleasure to make your acquaintance. Kind of.
We had a beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains today and also rode by Montpelier, James Madison’s home. But the best part of my day was arriving in Charlottesville to stay with one of my favorite people in the world, the lovely JORDAN. I’ve been laughing so hard my throat hurts.
