Ok this is both difficult and simple to do lol. Wait, hang on, it says write and share, so it's not actually something I've already done. Right, ok, I'll look at my waiting list of things I plan to do and bullshit a first line I may or may not keep 😂 and not only that, I'm going to steal it from a post from my role-play blog I'm basing it on.

I'm not giving context, I promise, but you're lucky there's content of a WIP at all because when I work on a chapter, I usually write in a frenzy until it's done and then it's up and there's nothing new to share (my original work aside). Fortunately... [insert context here], I have something this time:

Oh, no, how dare you! Uh, I like the punchiness of my writing, which came about when my once descriptive style got T-boned by my prose fiction course getting cancelled and forcing me into scriptwriting in my final uni year. I also like my writing enough to re-read my fics for enjoyment.

I am v curious about why you’re buying a rubber duck

my brother is learning to code to make his own games. he’s working super hard and i’m super proud of him. and all programmers need a rubber duck to help them debug their scripts. but weirdly, it’s hard to find somewhere online to buy a simple, regular rubber duck. it’s the dumbest problem to have.
