Biographical history She was born on the 21st of October 1988 into an entertainment and Royal family of Kosoko in Lagos, and her parent his the veteran actor Jide Kosoko and the late Herientta Kosoko. Educational history Bidemi Kosoko had her primary education at the Army Children School and Jibowu High School before finally rounded up her secondary education at Mainland High School, Lagos. She later went to study Theatre Arts at the Lagos State University in 2011.
Acting career Bidemi Kosoko who has a strong passion for acting started her career dated back to her primary school days but was launched into the movie scene professionally in the year 2000 when she joined her father’s acting group known then as JKT Theatre Group, Babscus. She came to limelight with the movie Aina Baseje and “Oun Oko Somida”, a movie she played the role of a bad child against her mother. Bidemi is also a producer. She successfully produced her first movie “Sikemi” and several other movies. She revealed that the most challenging movie in her life was “Korikoto”, a traditional movie produced by the renowned Yoruba actor Adebayo Tijani. She said it was very stressful for her due probably to her little or no exposure to the Yoruba tradition and culture at the time. Bidemi also revealed that her father’s influence played a big role in her eventual success in the movie industry. She acts in both Yoruba and English speaking movies including My Mum & I, Marriage Runs, Abowaba and Toyin Abraham hilarious movie “Alakada Re-loaded”.
