"Our democracy is a people's democracy, and it can be as great as people can be, but it is also as fallible as people are." - George Takei at TED.
Happy Birthday Laurence Olivier! Laurence Olivier, Baron Olivier, OM (22 May 1907 – 11 July 1989) was an English actor, director, and producer. He was one of the most famous and revered actors of the 20th century. Not only was Olivier bisexual in real life, he played one in a scene famously cut from the original version of Spartacus. When it was reinstated in 1991, the public finally got to hear the pointedly bisexual dialogue: "Some people like oysters, some people like snails. I like oysters and snails."
