Biesterfeld, Sandream sign distribution agreement

Biesterfeld Spezialchemie and Sandream Impact LLC have signed a distribution agreement for the European cosmetic markets. As of now, the speciality chemicals distributor represents the US company in the German-speaking DACH region, Eastern Europe and Turkey.

Sandream is a US-based effect pigment supplier, with more than 800 products, Impact's portfolio is characterised by its very wide variety.

Natural and synthetic mica, borosilicate glasses, bismuth oxychloride and aluminium are offered as pigment substrates. The portfolio is also supplemented by its Ecoperse products, which are pigment dispersions based on ECOCERT-certified octyldodecyl olivate.

Biesterfeld Spezialchemie said that it is extending its sales partnership with Sytheon Ltd, to Germany, Russia and Benelux. As a result of sales cooperation in Spain, Biesterfeld is strengthening its partnership with Sytheon in Europe and expanding its extensive product portfolio by adding a unique range of proprietary and patented active ingredients for the cosmetics industry.

Synastol TC is a water-soluble active ingredient suitable for certified natural cosmetics products. The raw material, based on a famous ayurvedic plant Terminalia Chebula, is a global anti-ageing active thanks to its anti-glycation and glycation reversal properties.
