Carmine tells anyone who will listen Kieran can't tolerate horror movies, and to such an extent he wakes her up every night for at least a week to walk him to the bathroom after watching one.
This is a lie, though.
It's Carmine who can't tolerate them.
At least once a week the Blueberry League holds a movie night in the clubroom, and whenever Drayton's turn to choose arrives, he always brings some bizarre indie horror flick none of them have ever heard of. Kieran is the only one who appreciates his selection of Skwovet Stapler, and they set aside their differences to spend at least an hour after the credits have rolled discussing the themes of the film and their theories - as though they're a pair of Celestican scholars.
Drayton and Kieran also express mutual excitement over the upcoming release of IRON LUNG, only for their camaraderie to come to an abrupt end once both realize the other intends to ask Juliana on a theatre date to see the film.
So Kieran is fascinated by horror.
But Carmine can't even withstand the cheesiest of horror comedy flicks; she's almost if not as bad as Mei!
Following the events of Mochi Mayhem, during Juliana and company's stay at Mossui Town's community center, the group decides to have a movie marathon one night which just happens to include the infamous so-bad-it's-good Sharpedonado (Nemona's choice).
Carmine and Kieran have been spending their nights at the community center too (despite their house being a less than five-minute walk away from the building) and the former does the very thing she told everyone the latter is guilty of...
Carmine: *repeatedly pokes Kieran's cheek* Kiki... Kikiiii...
Kieran: Mmnnnnggh... What do you want...?
Unless your name is Juliana, Kieran possesses the temperament of a wild alpha Garchomp when awoken (he's rather like their Sinnohan Champion cousin in that regard).
Had it been her, she would have instead received a soft and sweet, "Juliana...? What's the matter...?"
But Juliana is not the one who has woke him.
Carmine: It's okay, Kiki... you don't have to be embarrassed about it. I'll walk you to the bathroom. *holds out her hand*
Kieran: *glares at her outstretched hand* I was asleep. *turns over* You're a big girl. You can go on your own.
Carmine: Don't be like that! You'd be so humiliated if Juliana and her friends found out you wet the bed in the morning!! *pulls on his arm, dragging him towards the door*
Kieran: I'm not the one that needs to go! *grabs onto the door jamb* You took me away from the nice dream I was having!
Carmine: *furiously attempting to pry his fingers off the doorframe* You're so warped in the head if you can have nice dreams right after watching that awful Sharpedo movie!
Juliana and company are soon awoken by the shouts of the siblings, then witness the sight of Carmine dragging Kieran by the ankles and towards the restrooms.
Carmine: I'm trying to be a good big sister, SO LET ME HELP YOU!
Kieran: *while scratching and clawing at the floor* You're such a liar, NOW LET GO OF ME!
Okay I’m still figuring out what the timeline of it should be, but really Imagine you lose your rank as champion and before the change can be fully put into place and planned out Team Plasma comes and raids the fucking place. And kidnaps people.
