        “Garfield...” The name came out of her mouth affectionately, but she also it was clear that with that tone, a bossy demand would follow. Who would she be if she didn’t act such a way, however? The man knew she was a BRAT. “I would like to take you outside for scones and cloud watching...let’s go...”

        ❛  i don’t often get to talk to people like you.  ❜ she says quite plainly and there’s a beat of silence, before blue eyes widen slightly. ❛  i don’t - i mean - what i meant is i’m usually watching you guys on the news, not talking to you face to face.  ❜ teeth bite down on the inside of her cheek as she looks across at him, watching his facial features carefully. as good as she is in court, her social skills suck. all thanks to her adoring mom and dad.

        Angel gave him a little look, understanding what he was saying, but also meaning every bit of what she was saying. “Look...your fight is my fight, as far as I’m concerned.         She supposed that she could understand why he’d react like this to her saying that, but she also didn’t like that he seemed agitated about it. Not until his words hit her ears and she had to shake her head. “No, it’s not...I’m not saying it because I have a specific example for you. I’m just saying that if it came down to it, I would die for you. That’s all I meant.”
