Hey, I know my sexual orientation pretty well (bi!) But my romantic orientation is a bit weird. I would say aroflux or abroromantic, but that would imply either a) I'm only arospec or b) that when I do have romantic attraction, it fluxes, respectively. Sometimes I'm biromantic, sometimes I can't feel romance under any circumstances and those are the only 2 I Flux between. It can be in between (like 50 or 60% attracted.) Is there a term for that?
Hi there! So what I’m getting from this is that your romantic orientation can flux between being fully aromantic and fully biromantic, with some in-between going on sometimes.
Aroflux could still work because it doesn’t just mean someone who's romantic orientation fluctuates but always stays on the aro spectrum, but is also for someone who's romantic orientation fluctuates from, experiencing romantic attraction, some romantic attraction, & experiencing no romantic attraction.
Another option could be Biflux-romantic (aka Biroflux), which is when you’re biromantic but your attractions fluctuate. This would probably be the closest to what you’re asking for.
