Big Bert update :)

Approx 1.5m x 2m canvas is being covered with acrylic paint in layers. This is only layer #1.

It is supposed to be the Resurrection of Jesus, commissioned by the church, but it's actually Gilbert posing as merrily saluting his own dad after having catapulted the said dad into afterlife!

my dad and i are discussing bertuzzi while we watch the toronto/detroit game and and how we haven't heard anything about him in awhile and how we feel bad for him. obviously his hit is always going to be attached to his name but we're talking about him as a player and person and how he always stood up for vancouver and how amazing of a player he is and just things like when he left vancouver and we didn't do a good job of protecting him when he was one of our best players and it sucked and i don't really know where this is going all i know is that we miss big bert
