New Design - Stargazing Moth (and on behalf of my husband, alternate title "Intergalactic Pollinator." My latest design was inspired by a cecropia moth, which is a big, chonky, fuzzy moth! It's like a flying stuffed animal, really.
This design has a cecropia moth, but celestial-coded, holding a twig of nightshade, which carries a delicate orb with the Big Dipper constellation. And yes, I used metallic floss again! This time it's DMC Diamant, which is (mostly) attainable and easier to use.
My model is on 16ct Merlot by @moonlitdyeworks. Absolutely gorgeous and a joy to stitch on.
Find this cross stitch pattern on my Patreon, Tier 2 & Tier 3, until June 15th. You'll also get a bunch of other cool, human-made patterns and the best stitching Discord! Patreon --> https://www.patreon.com/posts/may-pattern-moth-158243060
