One day trip to Wilsons Promontory National Park
If you’re staying near Melbourne, renting a car with your friends and driving two and a half hours to this national park is very much worth it. Any road-trip with your friends is a fun thing to do, especially if it leads to an amazing place like this one.
Itinerary:
-Arrive at Wilsons Promontory National Park
- Hike about 40 minutes to the big drift through a path with many different sceneries to soak up
- Arrive at the big drift (pictures above) and soak up the beautiful view, make sure to sit, relax and really enjoy it.
- Hike back to the park’s entrance, (I went 10 minutes out of path to go to a historic cemetery, you can save that, in my opinion, not worth it).
- Drive a little inside the park and get close to the beaches, go visit them and enjoy yourself.
This trip is perfect for a day of fun and relaxing with your friends or your family, sometimes nice, healthy fun is necessary.
"Patrick Dearen's novels sweep the reader away on adventures as gritty and haunting as the West Texas wind. His newest work,The Big Drift, is no exception. With characters as unyielding as granite and as flawed as a busted four-wire fence, Dearen paints a word picture so compelling as to draw his readers into a maelstrom of dire situations and emotions that linger long after the book has been put away."
