Hello, I would really like to read some classic fics, you know big titles, stuff that everyone in fandom has read. Especially yoonmin, namjin, taekook and hopekook
hello anon!!! i really like your ask because i can see why it might be helpful to people. i do want to give some disclaimers though.
first, the "big titles" are usually the works that have the most "kudos" or "bookmarks" on ao3. these aren't necessarily the best works in the fandom though (IMO). everyone's opinion is different so i'll try to list the most recognized fic for each ship and then also some of my personal "classics". i still want to only recommend things i really like so ;)
i can't list every classic i know of (which sucks!!!) because then this post would get too big (choosing was so hard for me ugh). feel free to hit me up if you want more recommendations.

i personally have never finished this because it is quite violent. it's a gangster au and has very graphic moments that i'm too sensitive to deal with. it's the most bookmarked taekook au on ao3 though, so i had to list it!

i know i've said this before but this fic is so important to me!!!! it's one of the first fics i read on ao3. it's canon compliant which means it's about the world as it is (so bts are idols). it also goes into the future though. the passage of time and how things change but stay the same is heart breaking every time i read this story.

this is not only a yoonmin classic, but rather it's a bts fanfiction classic. the world building is insane, it's a pirate au and it's a masterpiece. if you want to read a fic that everyone knows, this is it.

i know that this is by the same author but this is my personal yoonmin classic. it made me fall in love with them. i love the concept. it's magical realism which normally i don't gravitate towards but in this work it's just done in a magnificent way!!!

this is really famous and also really good! it's one of the fake dating au classics, not only for yoonmin but for the entire fandom. i don't know what to say about this, just read it for yourself. i really liked it!

truth be told, i haven't read this. it's the most well known namjin au on ao3 though, so i guess i should give it a read. it's a college au/fraternity au. i've read that it's really good so give it a try!

okay so this isn't among the most famous namjin fics. in fact, it's quite hard to find namjin centered fics because they're one of the most used side ships in bts fanfiction. it's among my top namjin favorites though!! it's an airplane meet au/getting together au. namjoon works with bonsai trees. it's quirky and adorable. read it!!!!

this one is quite well known. it's a canon compliant namjin fic and actually based on this video (skip to 00:18) which makes it even better!
