What's Ingrid's biggest failure? I want to know her academic downfalls
What's your OC's greatest failure? Have they been able to move past it? Does anyone else know about it?
Her academic career hasn't really had a ton of major failures, although I think she probably did almost drop out of her PHD program like 50 times haha--academia is just sort of torture no matter how successful or good you are at it.
There's a couple things she would classify as failures--failure to earn the respect/love of her parents, her failed marriage, etc--but I'm too nicies to her about that to say those were failures, cuz they weren't her fault at all.
I guess from the authorial perspective I would say her biggest failure is to herself! Which also not super her fault, but y'know, she had a level of control over that that she didn't with her relationship failures.
