What country is the most/least progressive in terms of gender equality? What conditions there are like?
guessing this is in regards to BBF and the answer is Sporewyn is the least progressive, and Goldmere is the most progressive
In Sporewyn Omegas pretty much have no rights, they do not go to school, they cannot work, they cannot have money or property, they are not allowed to be seen in public unless it is a special occasion (like how Peony was allowed to go to the Winter Solstice festival (reminder: Maeve is from Sporewyn)), they act only as breeders within the royal family and are not recognised as a queen/king. They're forced to look at the floor and never look an alpha or superior in the eye, they are only allowed to speak when specifically instructed to, and their sole purpose in life is to serve their Alpha, be that their mate or parent, and they are mated off as soon as possible, sometimes as soon as they present but that's a dying tradition, more commonly they're mated once they are age of consent.
In Goldmere, Omegas go to school, they can work "Omega-appropriate" jobs (eg. librarians, child care, teachers, ect. nothing too strenuous or physically taxing), they can only "own" property through the government, as in the government supplies them with safe living quarters if they're past the age of consent and working, but it's heavily encouraged that Omegas be mated as soon as possible. They're allowed to walk around in public unattended, and to carry money and make purchases on their own (though not allowed to have their own bank accounts, the government controls their finances). They take a passive role in the royal family, but since Alphas tend to respect them a little more, their word is taken into consideration. They're allowed to look Alphas in the eye, and speak freely, and they have more options when it comes to how they choose to live, though it is expected they mate an Alpha and have children at least by the time they're in their mid-twenties
