mewgenics slop
A strange creature stands in the corner of what was once your bedroom. It smells like a mix of ammonia and... fennel?
You don't know why, but you somehow know his name is Juicebox. He LOOKS like a Juicebox. Something about his wide, frog-like eyes and sharp-toothed smile simply screams... Juicebox.
YOUNG THUG
Wordgirl: Rewired Character Changes?
We like to stay true to the original characters in Wordgirl: Rewired- but five years have passed, and everyone has changed at least a little. So….how so?
(Note: this doesn’t cover every character…believe me, we’ve had fun with this :) People like Chuck, the Butcher, Royal Dandy (we know our lore, we know he got destroyed, trust us), etc have their own things going on!)
Tobey - Tobey is a little more mischievous and much less “temper-tantrum-y” in Wordgirl: Rewired. In fact, he seems a little disillusioned with the whole “villain” thing nowadays, mostly helping Dr. Two-Brains because he has to and still likes to destroy things. He’s matured a bit…although it’s still Tobey, and some kids will never fully grow up.
Dr. Two-Brains - The ‘ol mouse-brained doc’ hasn’t actually changed much, still just as flamboyant and eccentric as ever. If anything, he’s just become a little more senile, fully embracing his role as Tobey’s “weird uncle” and being unapologetically eccentric and weird.
Beatrice Bixby - Beatrice is still grumpy and suspicious, although maybe a little more…”down to earth” than she used to be. She still loves the copiers, and is still way too suspicious of Dave and his motives…but she’s a little more sarcastic and dry-witted than she used to be, her anger cooling into more sarcastic bitterness than loud manic accusations.
Dave - Dave has changed…well, not much. He’s still sweet, oblivious, and very very intent on supporting Beatrice.
He also may or may not have a crush on her, but after rewatching episodes like “I Think I’m a Clone Now” and “Lady Redundant Woman”, I’ll admit that might not be a change 😉
Mr. Big and Leslie - Mr. Big and Leslie are still partners in crime, although…well, are now actual partners!
Both in their dual ownership of the company and them being married now, because…c’mon, guys. It’s my reboot, I get to ship the little bitty people however I want.
They’re both a little more functional though, and Mr. Big especially has grown to be a bit of a better listener. He’s still an oblivious goofball, but he tries to listen and does care when Leslie seems upset.
Leslie is still monotone and stoic, but with a bit of a sarcastic streak.
Eileen - Eileen, of course, now often assists in the Bigs’s schemes. She’s still very greedy, but she’s been taking anger management classes (that are taught by the reformed villain turned school counselor, The Butcher!). She’s a little more self aware, albeit this is usually after she’s gone full beast mode on everyone. It’s progress, though!
