Shattered Memo of the Day It's been long enough. The biggest surprises in the last Lost Light was the return of not one, but TWO storylines! Scorponok and the Magnifiance. Scorponok, who we had all believed dead, returns as the Grand Architect. In a way, it fits his MO revealed in the Ultra Magnus Spotlight: find a culture (probably this case, the Knights), make a group in culture to fill out his schemes, making sure no one knows he's there (except a handful), and do his evil schemes in the background and through said select group. I'm curious, though, on how he made this return. Then we got the Magnifiance. Now I will admit I think I am missing a comic book line (probably Spotlights), but last I personally heard of the Magnifiance was it being in Hot Rod's care. The tiny machine can answer any question, so it was being used to find Nova's plot. We then hear nothing of it, and Scorponok's last appearance was the series thereafter. Now both have mysteriously returned. Leaving us with the question: what happened in-between? And worse, since the Magnifiance was the Resus Cradle, we discovers it has MORE powers than having all the answers. Leaving us with more questions, but one stands above all others... What is Scorponok planning? I would guess make the perfect Cybertronian by the Coffin-bot, its 10-million alt modes, and self healing. But what does the Magnifiance have to do with it? I suspect knowledge isn't it, but these extra powers... Lost Light will be going wild. And we even haven't returned to the ship!!!

Eric Holland from Thurgoona in New South Wales was relaxing in his shed earlier this week, when he came across a 1.5 metre (5 foot) goanna lizard hanging on the side of his house.

“Well it was a bloody big shock mate,” Holland told radio station 2GB in an interview on Friday morning. “I nearly trod on the bloody thing.”

The goanna is actually a mature Lace Monitor, which can grow to 2 metres (6.5 feet) long and weigh 20 kilograms (44 lbs).
