In the early days of Muppet goodness...after "Sam and Friends" but before "Sesame Street", there was a lovely sketch which Jim Henson and his players performed on a number of different popular variety television programs. This sketch was "The Glow-Worm", and it starred one Kermit the Frog, and a monster called Big V.
Big V had a short but sweet career through the late 1960s in these sketches, and a few commercials and such (and was eventually redesigned and reconfigured for "The Muppet Show" as a very similar creature called Gorgon Heap.) But for today’s Inktobersome purposes, we are focusing on the gentle horror comedy of “The Glow-Worm”.
