what drew me to ur blog. the fact we are best friends :) but in all seriousness all the way back in 2021 i saw you were writing king arthur when i was writing rose tyler and i thought your graphics and writing were gorgeous and you seemed so cool and i was so excited when you followed me back HEHEHEHE. stayed because we became best friends :) will stay forever thank you very much

did you know that you are my bestest best friend in the whole world and i wouldn't trade you for anyone 😔🤍 not a day goes by where i don't think about rose tyler telling king arthur to shut up and built the beginnings of our friendship. i just remember being so excited to write with you, and if you had told chloe then that you'd become one of the most important people in my life, she'd be shocked! but also, very, very happy to hear. ngl, i wouldn't even be here on aerith if it weren't for you indulging me when i wanted to get into final fantasy and so we both took this journey together 🥺 cause we're aerith and tifa for real, if you even care. i love you so much, blythe. my best friend, my bridesmaid, the witness on my marriage certificate, the friend i always needed 🤍

❝   DON’T.   ❞    there's a ferocity beneath the exhausted crackling of her voice, a 𝚍𝚎𝚜𝚙𝚎𝚛𝚊𝚝𝚎 𝚝𝚛𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚛 that's so much more than just the shivering that continues to occasionally wrack her body. in their hardly private corner of the carpathia's packed dining hall, she's all but wrapped around him, cold skin pressed to EVEN COLDER beneath their shared blankets. everything aches, from the top of her head down to the very tips of her fingers and toes, muscles protesting as blood slowly rushes back to them. still, she shifts to blow puffs of hot air upon his fingers, his beautiful artists fingers. the tips are an alarming shade of deep blue, almost black. if she had any more tears to produce, she's certain she'd be crying. over all of it. but there’s no time. jack's far worse off than she is, rose knows that for a fact. he had been in the water for so long. still, they’ve come this far. he had been so strong throughout the night, she knows it’s her turn now.   ❝   𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒎𝒂𝒅𝒆 me promise not to give up, and i'm holding you to the same, jack dawson. you said you were a SURVIVOR, remember?    ❞

𝒔𝒉𝒆’𝒔 𝒍𝒂𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 - a thrilled, breathless sound, his kisses still rendering her weak in the knees. 𝚎𝚢𝚎𝚜 𝚋𝚛𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚌𝚑𝚎𝚎𝚔𝚜 𝚏𝚕𝚞𝚜𝚑𝚎𝚍, rose wrinkles her nose at jack and presses a halting hand to his chest, lax and grinning within the circle of his arms.   ❝    it’s only an audition, you know. i likely won’t even meet mister ziegfeld himself, not at this stage.   ❞      but oh! they want to see her! it EXHILARATES HER, fills her with a brand of nervous excitement that spurs a fresh peel of laughter from her chest as she leans up to press her mouth to his again and again.

𝖘𝖍𝖊 𝖜𝖆𝖓𝖙𝖘 𝖙𝖔 𝖑𝖆𝖚𝖌𝖍, it trips breathlessly upon her tongue. she feels silly and light and impossibly young, a flutter of something 𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒎 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒕 unfurling HIGH within her chest. it fascinates her, 𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐀𝐒𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒 𝐇𝐄𝐑. this life he's led, full of hardships she's never known, but full of adventure too. of freedoms she's only ever dreamt of. the evidence of it sits in her lap, a STUNNING portfolio brimming with the souls and stories of people who would 𝚝𝚞𝚛𝚗 𝚑𝚎𝚛 𝚖𝚘𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛'𝚜 𝚏𝚊𝚌𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚌𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚔. rose tilts her chin back in thought, angles herself ( perhaps recklessly - there are people strolling these decks who KNOW WHO SHE IS and who she's engaged to ) towards jack from her perch on the chair. i see you, he had said, and it rattles through her.       ❝    you mean it ?     ❞

❝     𝒊 𝒉𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒍𝒚 𝒅𝒐𝒖𝒃𝒕 that's something you struggle with.   ❞     warmth is imbued within her voice as SHE SMILES ― a blossoming fondness. gloved hand tucked 𝚗𝚎𝚊𝚝𝚕𝚢 within his arm, she leans in perhaps a touch closer than propriety allows, green eyes roaming over his face. the crowd of 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒 dinner-goers moves around them, paying almost no heed, for why would they? jack dawson is dressed to the part, and the sight of it ( while not nearly as endearing as his corduroy and flannel, golden hair falling into his eyes in a charming disarray ) had nearly taken her breath away. cal calls to her from a little ways ahead, and her gaze skitters away for a moment before RETURNING to jack.       ❝    𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐅𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐖 𝐌𝐘 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃, i won’t let them eat you alive.   ❞
