No coffee needed NOW!!! I am WIDE awake. I am sitting in my office working on designs and i hear this noise like something sliding down. I turn around and see this....yes a snake had made its way into my office. Now i am TERRIFIED of snakes so this is kind of a big deal for me. Yes, i know its a black snake but HELL NO! That's a NOPE ROPE!! I managed to handle the situation and get him or her or Satan outside. Regular Wednesday Evolution Ride, with variations • 5/31/17

We do some variation on this ride every week, but I usually don’t post it unless there’s something unique. Today I had a bigger mid-day window than usual, so decided to start a bit earlier and take the scenic route to the meetup at The Bicycle Outfitter. I wanted to check out the washout and reroute of the trail along Steven’s Creek. It’s a bit dodgy in a bit of an industrial zone, with some homeless encampments. Everything was fine, though, not a big deal.

The most impressive things on today’s ride were the exuberantly blooming flowers along the route, and the big fat western gopher snake we came across.
