A petition to be presented to the new PM upon arrival in office
Also we've still got time to get the transphobic EHRC Code of Conduct waived - until the 9th of July. If you haven't written to your MP yet now's the time
Trans Rights Alert:
Federal ATF Proposal Attempts to Mandate Biological Sex Markers on Firearms and Explosives Licenses, Invalidating Legal Marker Changes and Forcibly Outing Trans Americans
There are still 40 days before the public comments period is over. This will not add meaningful restrictions to obtaining firearms except opening trans americans up to discrimination, and allowing this to go through allows even more precedent for anti-trans legislation. If you are a us citizen, please at least leave a comment against this proposal and share the news. This should be met with resistance at every possible opportunity. Linked above is the proposal's information and instructions for public comments.
I hate how whenever I call someone out on Discord for being transphobic, there’s always those people that are like:
“They just don’t have the same opinion as you; that doesn’t mean they’re bigoted.”
“Are you sure that is what they said? Maybe you are misinterpreting them?” (How tf do I misinterpret a TER“F” saying she doesn’t want trans women in women’s bathrooms.)
“Everything is considered genocide nowadays.”
i‘m woman-adjacent as a nonbinary butch because there’s not that much space on these barricades
(Jewish) pride month day 8: Efrat Tilma
Efrat Tilma is an Israeli trans activist, policewoman, and writer. She has helped to bring attention to and correct the mistreatment of transgender people by the police. A play based on her autobiography, "Made He a Woman", has been performed at the national theater of Israel. A documentary was recently made about her life, titled "The First Lady", was part of the 2026 New York Jewish Film Festival. In 2022, she was named as one of the BBC's 100 Women of the year.

I missed Aotearoa's Pride Month and was meaning to make this post! Alas, my life got very difficult, and I forgot. So here it is, belatedly. Aroha mai! For those of us in En Zed, I thoroughly recommend Dr. Will Hansen's work on our queer history.
"Every Bloody Right To Be Here": Trans Resistance in Aotearoa New Zealand, 1967 - 1989" And Queer Activism in Aotearoa New Zealand, 1961 - 2013
They're both theses, so they are long, but they're free to read and download from Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University's Open Access portal.

AND: Here is the place you can submit on the Definitions of Woman and Man Amendment Bill (aka some transphobic garbage)
