Summary:

On assignment for a local newspaper, Eddie Brock ends up at a gay bar to conduct an interview. The interview subject and the surroundings remind Eddie of some desires that he hasn’t fulfilled in too long, not that he can actually do anything with a huge seven-foot sludge alien sharing his body. As they leave the bar, Venom catches sight of a group of people doing body shots and their curiosity gets the best of them. What follows is a campaign to convince Eddie to practice body shots with Venom. Not just because they’re curious but because they remember what Eddie said about them: “Sometimes it’s probably people that genuinely care about each other and want to move their relationship somewhere more physical.” And that’s exactly what Venom wants.

Excerpt: 

What are they doing? A tendril slides up Eddie’s spine and out the neck of his shirt, pointing at something to Eddie’s left. His heart races at having a piece of Venom so exposed but it’s likely dark enough in the club that no one will notice. One of these days their impulsivity is going to get him in trouble but not today and not in a gay bar. They could probably walk around completely covered in Venom and no one would even bat an eye. “What are who doing?” Venom taps against Eddie’s jaw and then presses, turning his head until he’s looking at the bar. It’s crowded with people, laughing, talking, ordering drinks. There’s a group of three woman who look like they’re celebrating someone’s twenty-first birthday chugging Irish Car Bombs closest to him and a larger group of people surrounding a lean guy sat on a stool with the rind side of a lime wedge between his lips. “I don’t—” THAT. A second guy steps up to the one that has the lime wedged into his mouth, nudging the first man’s knees apart until he can fit between them. Eddie, frozen to the floor by Venom, watches as one man licks the other man’s neck, sprinkles salt over the spot, and then licks again before leaning down and wrapping his lips around the shot glass between the other man’s legs. The long line of the guy’s throat is exposed as he stands, tipping his head back, Adam’s apple bobbing as he swallows, before plucking the shot glass out of his mouth and leaning forward to fit his own lips around the lime wedge. “Body shots,” Eddie says vaguely, his eyes fixed on where the transfer of the lime wedge has turned into a sloppy kiss, the lime dropped to the floor and forgotten. And he thought the beat makeup session had been hot. Jesus. Let us see.

Visual Elements: 

This is Comic!Eddie (along the lines of Lethal Protector 2022) not Movie!Eddie.

 SCENE ONE: Eddie's dressed in a white t-shirt, dark jeans, and black motorcycle boots. A tendril of Venom is coming out of his shoulder and turning his head to look at something that a second tendril is pointing toward. They're in a club so it's darkish with rainbow strobe lights. "Venom taps against Eddie’s jaw and then presses, turning his head until he’s looking at the bar. It’s crowded with people, laughing, talking, ordering drinks. There’s a group of three woman who look like they’re celebrating someone’s twenty-first birthday chugging Irish Car Bombs closest to him and a larger group of people surrounding a lean guy sat on a stool with the rind side of a lime wedge between his lips."

 SCENE TWO: Eddie is more or less dressed in the same thing (t-shirt, jeans, boots) and a jacket or hoodie made out of Venom. Venom's long-necked noodle head is coming out of his shoulder, face smeared with ice cream, trying to slobber all over the side of Eddie's face. "Plus two massive scoops of double chocolate ice cream in a waffle cone from the ice cream parlor a few blocks over. Eddie had licked at the cone himself until he slinked down a side street, finding a spot dark enough and abandoned enough that Venom could come out. They downed the rest of the cone in one greedy gulp while Eddie laughed and held them off when they tried to lick the side of his face with their cold tongue."

 SCENE THREE: Body shots time! Eddie is in a t-shirt and basketball shorts bent backward over the island in his kitchen, shirt shoved up under his armpits so most of his chest and stomach are bare. Venom is amorphous, wrapped around his hips and shoulders, holding Eddie down while a tendril holds the bottle of tequila over his belly button getting ready to pour a shot. Venom's face is right over Eddie's crotch and their tongue is licking their lips.
