"Wicked Game” | Wuthering Heights | Heathcliff ❤️ Cathy | Chris Isaak
This video has been sitting in my editing software for about a month. For whatever reason, I just couldn't finish it. I'd work on it for a while, save it, and then move on to something else. But I finally came back to it, and I'm really happy with how it turned out.
I've always thought "Wicked Game" fit Heathcliff and Cathy's story perfectly. Apparently I'm not the only one—it seems to show up on just about every Wuthering Heights playlist I come across. After editing this, I can definitely see why. The song captures so much of what makes their relationship so unforgettable: longing, obsession, love, heartbreak, and the impossibility of ever truly letting each other go.
As always, this edit is based on the 2009 miniseries, which remains my favorite adaptation of Emily Brontë's novel. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed finally finishing it.
