It wasn't that she wasn't a nice girl, nice (and quite cute he admitted to himself), but maybe just a bit accident prone.

Percy just couldn't face another holiday at the Burrow without bringing a significant other. His mother was always fussing about it, his brothers and father teasing him. He was a grown adult, he didn't need them acting that way!

So, he had asked a friend to attend his family's holiday celebrations with him.
