Hi, I just wanted to say that your post about Craig Hicks which called out the hypocrisy of atheists and anti-theists intolerance towards other religions, namely Islam, was fantastic.
hello, thank you. i make a distinction between atheists & anti-theists, regardless of whether they make that distinction themselves. atheists aren’t necessarily anti-theists. anti-theists are people like harris & dawkins who are very opposed to religion & ‘God’, who seem incapable of seeing nuance. who think that getting rid of religion is all there needs to be done to get rid of violence. they also constantly talk about things they barely know about with disregard to the suffering of the people they’re criticizing or what their own countries have done to contribute to the suffering. it’s disgusting.
