My mascara was smeared down my cheeks, my eyes red and puffy from sobbing. I saw my mothers name on the stone, the sight only bringing more tears to my eyes. My life had been utterly ordinary until this point, and I'd loved it. Now it seemed there was nothing left to be excited about. I'd lost my mom. It had been a surprise. Nothing had happened to prepare me for losing my mother. There were no answers. She just, died. I jumped as I felt a tap to my shoulder and turned, seeing a man beside me, not much older than myself, one of the leftover guests from the funeral. "I'm sorry for your loss, your mother was a great woman." I smiled at him. "Thank you, how did you know my mother?" He moved beside me, looking down at the freshly made grave. "She gave me my first job at her firm. She believed in me when nobody else would." I smiled. My mother had been a well known lawyer in our somewhat small town. She wasn't world renowned, but I was proud of her. "That sounds like her." He smiled, turning to face me and holding out a hand. "I'm Nick" I took his hand, giving it a firm shake. "Y/N." We ended up talking for awhile, and he accompanied me home. We had a cup of coffee, simply basking together in our grief. He was kind, respectful and patient. At one point, he asked where my bathroom was, and I header towards the kitchen to rinse our mugs out. I heard footsteps head towards me, but wasn't very worried. "Where are Sam and Dean Winchester?" His voice was suddenly angry, menacing almost. "Who?" I turned in confusion, gasping as I saw his eyes. They were black. He stomped towards me, his fists clenched. "Don't play stupid you little bitch, I know you're their sister. Tell me where they are!" My stunned silence must have pissed him off, because he growled, his fists coming up to curl around my throat. I fought for breathe as he lifted me off the floor, my vision swimming as he continued to cut off my air supply. I clawed at his hands, tried to scream, but everything began to get heavy. Then it all went black. - - - Cold. That was the first thing I noticed when I woke up. There was a draft coming from somewhere, tracing its way over my skin, raising goosebumps. I looked around, then down at myself. My arms and legs were tied to a chair, ropes digging into my wrists. "Thank god you're awake, I was thinking I'd hit you a little too hard before. Didn't want to end the fun before I got what I needed." Nick, or whatever he was, stepped from the shadows, a knife held in his grasp, smirking over at me. I gulped, pulling at the restraints. "I don't know what you want" I said, my voice meek, desperate. "Yes you do. So just tell me and I'll let you go home. Where. Are. The Winchesters?" I shook my head, tears starting to leak from my eyes. "I don't know." The thing in front of me smirked, putting the knife to my collar before dragging it down, opening a thin red line of blood. "Well, why don't you think about it for a little while huh? Let's have some fun in the meantime." I could already tell it was going to be a long night. ----General POV---- Sam sat in the passenger side of the impala, laptop balanced on his knees as Dean drove down the highway. "This ones weird, really weird. Y/N Winchester went missing three days ago, a neighbor called it in. Authorities searched her place, found no signs of a struggle, two coffee cups in the sink, like a normal day with a friend. Even more weird, cops went searching the moms room, found journals filled with mythical creatures, vampires, werewolves, fairies." Dean looked at his brother, eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "So, a chick with our last name and a shit ton of hunting journals in her house. Awesome. Get Kevin, Garth, Charlie, anyone you can on this. We need to figure out all we can." - - - I couldn't remember how long I'd been here, strapped to this goddamn chair, cuts, bruises, and burns all over my body. My vision was swimming in front of me, making everything blurry and faded. Then there was a slap to my cheek, a hand on my jaw pulling my face up. Nick smirked down at me, bringing his lips close to mine. I made to jerk away from him, but he grabbed my jaw tighter. "Don't go falling asleep yet beautiful. I haven't gotten what I wanted yet." He slammed his lips onto mine forcefully, then pulled back with a grin. "Where next......maybe here?" The knife inched towards my face, but before he could cut into me, a blade was suddenly protruding from his stomach, his body flashing orange before he fell to the floor. I looked up to see two men, both looking at me with concern. The shorter one rushed towards me, going to his knees to cut my restraints. "I got you, just stay awake kiddo, don't close those eyes. Stay with me now.......hey......Y/N! Y/N!" As much as I tried, I couldn't stay awake. The man's voice started to sound far away, like he was shouting from a distance. My limbs started to feel tired, my eyelids heavy, and I succumb to the darkness again. - - - There was an annoying beeping noise in the background, and the faint sounds of a conversation going on. I fought to open my eyes, then groaned at the sting of harsh lights. "Y/N?" I saw the man again, the man who saved me. I furrowed my brows in confusion, staring up at him. "Who are you?" He smiled sadly, grabbing my hand. "That's a long story kiddo." He helped me sit up, and I saw a taller man in the corner, resting in an armchair. He smiled sweetly at me, and as I looked at him, there was something faintly familiar. Like I was looking at a version of myself. I looked back to the man next to me, swallowing dryly, not sure I wanted to know, but knowing I needed too. "We have time" and as I listened to them speak, I realized. Life as I knew it, was over. But maybe, it wouldn't be so bad this time. I had two brothers that were willing to take care of me, look out for me, be there for me like family should. Maybe, just maybe, some good could come out of this after all.
