This Morning Quickly Transformed into a Shit Show
I've been awake since about six this morning. Damn weather shifting too quickly to catch up. Thankfully I didn't end up having any muscle spasms, but I think it was a near thing.
I'm not doing well this morning, however. I just ended a friendship that I now realize in hindsight was a long time coming. My now Ex-Friend, one of My longtime best friends in the Pagan and Polytheist community for the past seventeen years revealed Himself as a major Trans phobe, and outed Me as BiGender in a space where I try to keep My identity on the download for safety reasons. Thankfully the moderator in said space caught it in time and took care of it, but I'm dealing with a bit of fall out over the whole thing.
I've been observing this now ex-friend for the past year now. Some things He said late last year caught My notice, as He said some terrible things towards Women, which was weird for Him. I watched Him head into Heathenry over a gradual period, focusing His devotion to Odin. I was wary of this, because said Ex-Friend has always been more on the Conservative siade of the Politics, but before now has always dwelled on the Moderate end of thing. Not anymore, apparently. I'm sad to say He drank the Trump Cool aid, and one of the things I saw on His persoanl Facebook wall before the situation happened this morning was a post letting Everyone know He is a proud new member of the Asatru Folk Assembly.
Here's a reminder that Folkism is the scum of the Earth and Folkish, and Terfs while I'm at it, aren't welcome on this blog, or any spaces that I uphold. You can all fuck off straight into the nearest natural disaster.
As for Myself, I'm not okay. I'm mostly safe, so don't worry about that, and thank the Gods that people in charge of certain spaces did Their job and took care of things, took care of Me, but I'm now grieving the loss of a friend that helped Me through My early years into Paganism and then Polytheism. A friend who saw Me married, helped Me get back onto My feet when My marrage fell apart and I moved back home. A friend whose youngest Children I got to watch grow up.
