I got tagged in a thing to answer some stuff...

Name: Nathan Rosario

Nicknames:  in my Army days: “Ross”, “Roz” or “Rosey”; after the Army just “Nate” or “Nater”.  I still go by the screenname of “bigbarada” on a couple of Star Wars collecting websites.

Birthday: May 16, 1973

Star Sign: Taurus (I think)

Height: 5 feet and 9 inches

Sexual/romantic orientation: Straight, but I’ve never actually been in a relationship that lasted beyond the second date.  I’m a bit of a hermit and tend to prefer solitude a majority of the time.   

                Favorite color: it’s almost impossible to narrow it down to just one color because I usually only like colors in relation to other colors.  However, I guess any deep, rich shade of brown is going to be a favorite of mine.  I’ve always found brown to be a very comforting, calming color.  Unless it’s poop, then it’s just gross; so I guess context is a major factor.

Average hours of sleep: I work very hard to get 8-10 per day, but I’m not always successful

Last thing I googled: “Illinois leash laws” - I’ve been considering getting a dog

One thing that makes me happy: dogs

How many blankets do I sleep under: during the summer, none… in winter, probably 2-3.

Favorite fictional character:  Hank McCoy, by a pretty wide margin.  Mostly his original human form though.  I’m a bit less enthusiastic about his blue-furry form and I’m not a fan at all of his lion form.  

Favorite famous person/celebrity: Matt Hughes, former UFC Welterweight Champion.  I was a fan of his for years, then we got a chance to meet in 2006, he hired me as his webmaster, and we’ve been good friends ever since.

Favorite book: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

Favorite Musician/band:  Again, very difficult to narrow down to one.  Probably Aphex Twin or Dead Can Dance, if I had to choose based on the number of complete albums I have in my iTunes library and how many times I recommend them to people.

Favorite movie I’ve seen at the cinema:  LOTR: Return of the King - one of the only times that I went into a movie with really high expectations and the movie still managed to exceed those expectations in every possible way.

Dream holiday: I’d love to visit Israel and tour the Holy Land.

Dream job:  Self-publishing my own comic without worrying about whether or not it’s going to be a financial success so I can pay my rent.  I know web comics are an option, but there’s just something about holding a physical copy of a book that you created yourself that can’t be replicated in digital form.

Last book I read: The Bible, Old Testament, Ezekiel chapter 19.

Last movie I saw in the cinema: Ant-Man and I thought it was pretty great.

You can never really have too many awesome pieces of fanart of Ursula’s who’re their proper size! I’d like to think this blog’s “awesome fat fanart” tag will help show people who think that if fanart depicts fat bodies it can’t be super awesome, gorgeous, creative, or cute that they’re so, so wrong about that.
