Onto something more positive, here’s the stray Big that I care for. A cat that used to hiss and strike at anyone as our streets are rough. He’s now more vocal (mews), purrs, kneads and has more trust. he now comes into the porch and cuddles up to me. Trusts me enough to turn his back on me and expose his stomach (a cats most vulnerable part). When he sees us, he perks up. You see the light in his eyes, and his tail shoots up, curls at the tip and rattles as he runs up. All amazing signs in cat language for a joyous greeting! I remember he used to attack and draw blood from me (I’ve had a recentish tetnus jab from another incident XD), to the point another cat actually stood and defended me (this cat later being our Billy Boy) and now he’s a softie. All the cats have such strong purrs, are so bright and joyous and love following me. They’re angels ^^

Remember Biggie Bear the stray?

Slept in our porch 2 nights ago. Looked so refreshed that morning. He’s starting to meow at us now, or at least trying to vocalise what he wants.

In other news, a fuckin magpie tried to get in as well lol

Animals know the dumb fucks willing to feed and care for them, the dumb fuck being me lol (but nah, genuinely love em. The magpies are starting to trust that I’ll keep them safe from the cats, and the cats are largely unbothered now - except Big who shoos them off and Tiny who chases because they used to pull her tail before she moved in. Try splitting up two magpies pulling tails and a grumpy junior! Theyre like kids, bless em)
