My friend Fadel grew up in northern Gaza. Two years ago, the zionist occupation bombed his house while he was inside. He had to be brought to a hospital in southern Gaza because the hospitals in the north had completely collapsed. He has been homeless and raising funds for surgery to remove the shrapnel from his body since then. Now the occupation is laying groundwork for three settlements in northern Gaza. 6-year-old Souad has been anemic since birth, and starvation and disease due to the IOF assault have caused her severe additional health complications. In September she fell unconscious and was admitted to the hospital. She has since been comatose and fluid is building up around her brain.

Medical staff have worked very hard to reduce the swelling. But despite their efforts, Souad's brain is now hemorrhaging (bleeding). The swelling has been too persistent, and the pressure is rapidly bursting the cells of her brain, causing bleeding. This will kill her. Little Souad is dying.

She needs to be evacuated outside of Gaza, but this is extremely expensive. However, in addition to the high cost of the medical evacuation, her family is also forced to pay high medical fees to the private hospital which is caring for her. It is the only facility in Gaza with the capacity to slow the deterioration of her condition, and these bills must be paid for her to live long enough for evacuation.

Last year, I was pregnant with my daughter Tia during one of the hardest times of our lives. We were going through a terrible period of hunger and scarcity. There was barely any food, and I suffered deeply because I could not nourish my unborn baby the way a mother should. There was also almost no medical care or treatment to make sure she would be born safely.🥹😭

After months of fear and exhaustion, Tia was born in a fragile tent while bombs and destruction surrounded us. She was supposed to be born and grow up in our warm home, but our home was bombed and destroyed, leaving us with nothing but a worn tent. This small, fragile tent cannot protect her from the freezing cold in winter or the burning heat in summer.😢😢My daughter never received the childhood she deserved. Her first year of life has been filled with suffering, displacement, and pain. We have lived through the hardest days, and even as a baby, Tia feels the fear and anxiety around her every day.🥹

Today, my little girl is only one year old.🫂 She has never known what safety feels like. The only things she knows are hunger, fear, and the sound of bombs.😢

Teen’s organs failing & NO TREATMENT in >1 MONTH

19-year-old Khalil Al Habil's liver and kidneys are failing. Shrapnel damage from the bombardment that killed his baby brother Omar has gone mostly untreated due to a lack of funds and resources. The ill effects of this damage have progressed to the point that the organs are losing their ability to function. Khalil urgently needs 3 rounds of treatment to combat the effects of his deteriorating liver and kidneys.

We've paid off the first round of treatments but Khalil has two treatments that he still needs. The second costs about $1,250 usd, but we haven’t made much progress in more than a month and his condition is getting progressively worse. We need to meet this second goal ASAP!!!
