With the push of a button, the occupation wipes out entire residential squares, displacing thousands of families into the unknown on harsh displacement journeys that lack the most basic necessities of life. They want to destroy the present and the future, and make Gaza unlivable in full view of the silent world. Do not close your eyes to the horror of what we are experiencing, and do not tire of writing about us.

The bottom line is that everyone who has the ability to act or influence and then chooses silence bears a share of the responsibility as long as the genocide continues. Every spectator of hunger is a partner in its bitterness until bread reaches the mouths of the hungry, a partner in thirst until the throats of children are quenched, a partner in displacement until people return to their homes, a partner in pain until wounds are healed, and a partner in nights of terror until the dawn of safety comes... In times of massacres, neutrality does not grant innocence. Silence does not provide salvation; Because remaining silent about the crime prolongs its life and gives it space to continue.

My friend Fadel grew up in northern Gaza. Two years ago, the zionist occupation bombed his house while he was inside. He had to be brought to a hospital in southern Gaza because the hospitals in the north had completely collapsed. He has been homeless and raising funds for surgery to remove the shrapnel from his body since then. Now the occupation is laying groundwork for three settlements in northern Gaza. This is what genocide looks like.

We often think about genocide on the level of populations, but I want you to understand genocide through the lens of a single person. The occupation has been bombing refugee camps all week and these attacks have been so close to Fadel that debris from shelling have fallen on his family's tent. Imagine your worst trauma repeating over and over and over. This is his life, always at risk of bombing.

Fadel's body is breaking down from lack of adequate treatment and prolonged malnutrition. He is in extreme pain all the time, and experiences constant dizziness and nausea. @fadell-aldany has been fainting from severe anemia. All of these things are the direct result of the occupation: the destruction of food and water systems, the blockade on medicine and sterile surgical equipment, and the attacks on doctors and hospitals. POINT OF NO RETURN!! CHILD NEAR DEATH!! PLEASE HELP!!

6-year-old Souad has been anemic since birth, and starvation and disease due to the IOF assault have caused her severe additional health complications. In September she fell unconscious and was admitted to the hospital. She has since been comatose and fluid is building up around her brain.

Medical staff have worked very hard to reduce the swelling. But despite their efforts, Souad's brain is now hemorrhaging (bleeding). The swelling has been too persistent, and the pressure is rapidly bursting the cells of her brain, causing bleeding. This will kill her. Little Souad is dying.

She needs to be evacuated outside of Gaza, but this is extremely expensive. However, in addition to the high cost of the medical evacuation, her family is also forced to pay high medical fees to the private hospital which is caring for her. It is the only facility in Gaza with the capacity to slow the deterioration of her condition, and these bills must be paid for her to live long enough for evacuation.

Last year, I was pregnant with my daughter Tia during one of the hardest times of our lives. We were going through a terrible period of hunger and scarcity. There was barely any food, and I suffered deeply because I could not nourish my unborn baby the way a mother should. There was also almost no medical care or treatment to make sure she would be born safely.🥹😭

After months of fear and exhaustion, Tia was born in a fragile tent while bombs and destruction surrounded us. She was supposed to be born and grow up in our warm home, but our home was bombed and destroyed, leaving us with nothing but a worn tent. This small, fragile tent cannot protect her from the freezing cold in winter or the burning heat in summer.😢😢My daughter never received the childhood she deserved. Her first year of life has been filled with suffering, displacement, and pain. We have lived through the hardest days, and even as a baby, Tia feels the fear and anxiety around her every day.🥹

Today, my little girl is only one year old.🫂 She has never known what safety feels like. The only things she knows are hunger, fear, and the sound of bombs.😢

My baby urgently needs the most basic things to survive food, diapers, and clothes. What may seem small to others means everything for my daughter.

Sometimes I look at her and wonder if Tia could speak, she would tell you how sad she is and how much she needs your help. A baby should never have to live like this.

From the heart of a mother, I am begging you to please help my child. Even the smallest donation can make a difference in her life.

Maha has been hospitalized due to serious complications from an infected tooth. She is particularly vulnerable to this type of infection, which almost killed her last year. Thankfully her husband has returned from Egypt, but both he and Maha are unable to work and thus cannot pay for her hospital bills. They are over $1,500 usd in debt for her treatment and Maha is about to be kicked out of the hospital.

As I said, last year a very similar infection almost took Maha’s life. If she is expelled from the hospital, a worsened infection is an inevitability. She still has a high fever and needs to remain hospitalized. PLEASE help her continue life-saving treatment!!
