Oh god do not live in SFU res if you can avoid it. I've been stuck here for the last two years and it's an overpriced hellhole filled with flooded kitchens, no working showers, paper thin walls, and a serious mouse infestation

I have scoliosis too, and have been let down by Canadian healthcare a few times :/ I have a posture band though and it really helps! It's used for stretching and strengthening back muscles and reminds you to keep your shoulders back/back straight

Right now I do exercises in the morning and for the most part they allow me to go through my day to day life without too much tighness and discomfort, but when I stand after sitting for a while my back gets super stiff (like old man hunching) because I can't stand up straight until my back loosens out (takes 5-15 minutes usually).

It sucks but at least its 'manageable' now. Earlier around christmas I was having terrible muscle spasms and could barely walk. Thanks to some physiotherapy and exercises I can actually walk and be somewhat active most of the time.

1. I usually default to telling people the same “random” facts about myself because they are the ones that I get the most response for.

2. I’m an immigrant, neither of my biological parents have any American blood. But I've lived here since I was 2 so I'm pretty much American

3. English is my second language but I speak it fluently and hardly remember german (excluding what I’ve learned in college)

4. I’m going to be a senior in college and I still haven’t gotten into the major I’m pursuing nor have I taken the intro class for the subject ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

5. I haven’t eaten any meat since I was 12 and I have always thought chicken tastes and smells so gross
