Epagomenal Day 3: Set’s B-Day

I got my cat to take his antibiotic, but now I am a BIG MEANIE, and he is not happy with me. It reminded me of Set-- and strangely, given my never-gonna-reproducerus uterus-- parenthood.

I spent the rest of the day making collages and a devotional zine for Set. (Who would be interested in me making this available for free to download, or for the cost of mailing?) Then he accompanied me out to eat and to a coffee shop, and gave me loving vibes as I drove home, dancing and singing to the radio.

I love Set a lot. Truly I do. But the point, to me, is not that he never did anything wrong, or never fucked up spectacularly... In fact, I think he models wonderfully for us that sometimes we can learn more from our failures and mistakes than from our successes.
