When a relationship starts and everything is good, it is easy to disregard the fact that things would change. Easy to forget that happiness does not lasts forever. What makes us happy changes with us, what makes us happy and content now might not make us feel the same some time in the future.

To the girl whom I have come to know, you are beautiful enough to leave this all behind.

If you truly believe that you are mature and that you have moved on...

Do not go on social media answering questions that you know would fuel the fire. 

Do not tell people to stop reacting when you have give them something to react to.

Do not say I have moved on when you keep reminiscing what happened, what was done.

Do not say that it is okay when it is not.

Do not say that you were played when you agreed to let him play you.

When two people enter a relationship they expect to exit out together, a hope that both parties would know and have a common understanding when it no longer works that way it used to. However, we do not always get what we wish for - that is the brutal truth of the world we created. People change based on who and what they are exposed to and sometimes, the people around we grow old with do not change with us.

When you leave, whether that is figuratively or physically, you also leave a part of yourself behind to make room for other things that we make possible. We cannot expect...

That that part of ourself will still fit our new self.

That the people we left behind still fits us.

... we can only hope. Then accept.

Accept beacuse we have no other choice.

Accept because we made a choice before we left and it has come to this.

Accept that we agreed on the terms set.

And accept that we can’t change the changes that has happened.
