Samrat Choudhary Takes Oath as Bihar’s 24th CM, NDA Unveils New Power Equation
A major political shift has taken place in Bihar as Samrat Choudhary assumes office as the 24th Chief Minister, marking a new phase in the state’s leadership. The oath ceremony, administered by Syed Ata Hasnain, signals a reshaped NDA power structure.
Senior Janata Dal (United) leaders Bijendra Prasad Yadav and Vijay Kumar Chaudhary have been appointed as Deputy Chief Ministers, highlighting a strategic balance within the alliance.
The event saw key political figures like Nitish Kumar, J. P. Nadda, and Chirag Paswan in attendance—underlining the significance of this transition.
Before taking oath, Choudhary visited a temple in Patna, blending tradition with politics, and emphasized his vision of a “prosperous Bihar,” drawing from his experience alongside Nitish Kumar.
With challenges like employment, infrastructure, and governance ahead, the new leadership now faces the task of delivering results while maintaining coalition stability.
This isn’t just a leadership change—it’s a recalibration of power, strategy, and expectations in Bihar politics.
