EV mobility platform Bijliride has announced a partnership with the Telangana Police Women Safety Wing and the State Transport Department.
Bijliride, in collaboration with Telangana Police, has launched the Stree Ride initiative, a meaningful step toward enhancing women's safety and confidence in urban transportation. By combining technology-driven mobility solutions with a strong focus on security and inclusivity, the initiative reflects how innovation can create a more supportive and equitable transportation ecosystem.
“The reality is that India’s riding and delivery workforces have traditionally been heavily male-dominated, and we want to change that narrative from the ground up. Our partnership with the ‘Stree Ride’ team is about practical empowerment. We are giving women the vehicles, the technology, and the training they need to step onto the roads with confidence.
