Blake Rides for Brake the Cycle

Blake Appleby, together with wife Alana, has worked for several years to coordinate Brake the Cycle, a non-competitive ride that raises awareness and funds for World Visions’ mission to help the poor in Zambia. Access to clean water and a bike can change the lives of so many. 

The Appleby’s have seen the impact firsthand with visits to the region with their sons. Bikes donated through this initiative help sanitation workers reach remote villages, provide transportation for healthcare workers, and enable children to get to school.

The 2019 ride takes place on July 13th and riders can register online, which includes a Friday evening registration/cocktail party, the Saturday ride, a post-ride family BBQ lunch, and plated dinner celebration at Aspen Meadows. Plus, a 2019 Brake the Cycle jersey.

The Little Nell // Friends and Fellows Ride

Join The Little Nell for a Friends and Fellows Ride on Thursday, June 13th. 

Partnering with Blackberry Farm, this second annual ride kicks off Food & Wine weekend and raises awareness for the Sam Beall Fellows Program. Food, wine, and cycling enthusiasts will meet up for a scenic ride and a patio lunch at element 47. Departure for the ride is at 9 AM and ends just in time to kick off a wine-filled weekend.
