December, 2015. Driving over the Hài Vân pass between Hôi An and Hué was one of my best days on the bike in Vietnam. Steep and windy ocean and mountain view roads, getting to lean into corners (that I hadn't been before) and coming out on spectacular scenes. There were lots of vantage points for pictures of #Sasha II, but so many more I couldn't stop to capture (it was taking hours). But had to stop at the #TopGear vantage point to see what the lads were fussing about. After this was mostly motorway, so I took a detour off and got lost on the flat in the last stretch and ended up in backarse villages with just paddy fields and weird cemeteries around me, lots of stares from people in pointy woven hats knee deep in mud until I arrived at the coast and drove all along the tiny beach backroada until finally getting to the old town in Hué. AND it was also one of the few days I didn't need to stop in a mechanics to repair my bike.. #BikeTrouble #NotToday #HondaWin #Vietnam #BikeVietnam #TravelPics #LostLaowai #SeeingWhatICanSEA (at Đèo Hải Vân)
