Compass Camilla Taylor Linocut on Rives BFK 20" x 15" I love a good stipple! Few things are as satisfying to me as a heavily worked relief print. I printed this one in my home studio on a Takach press. My father was in town visiting so I put him to work as studio assistant. Made for the West III portfolio print exchange organized by Sukha Worob and Andrew Rice, with a few left over for my friends and collectors. Photo by Mike Reynolds

I've spent today printing a new linocut, and now my legs are so sore from standing around. I'm reminded why I usually only do small editions. I'll have a few from this edition available soon!
Cold little foot, toes curled in. I just made a sodium alginate mold from this polymer clay form, and cast two wax duplicates. Usually, I make the original in wax, but I'm trying to build in more fail safes in case the final casting goes bad.
Giant head getting its graphite stain.
