Awning Installation
Uniontown native, and our friend Bill Mackey was nice enough to bring his boom truck over for a day to raise up our steel awning. We had previously installed stainless steel threaded rods into the brick parapet for the back side of the awning to attach to. Once we “threaded the needle” and tightened double nuts and washers on we used steel rods with threaded ends to connect clevis connections to both the awning and threaded rods higher up on the parapet. We like the way the new awning looks- now we just need to paint it!
